2011 Application Timeline - What to Expect

Feb 23 - March 30	Application materials posted. Career / Counseling Centers at each High School will offer help sessions during the application window. March 8, Tues.- 10:55 SqHS Student Help Session March 22, Tues.- 1:45 BHS Student Help Session March 24, Thurs.-1:45 BHS Student Help Session SHS Student Help Session TBA
March 30th	Applications due to Career / Counseling Centers by 2:30pm
March 31 - Early May	Scoring & Selections
Mid-May	Awards Packets sent to students with invitation to Scholarship Reception. Schools notified of 2011 recipients. Non-recipients will be notified by mail.
May 31, 2011	Scholarship Reception - Fairhaven Middle School Recipients must plan to attend.
July, 1 2011	If you were awarded a 2011 scholarship, you will be required to submit the Scholarship Respose Form and a hand written thank you note to your scholarship donor.
January, 5 2012	The January after your first term of college you will be required to submit two items in order to receive your scholarship funds: Official transcript of your first term grades (successful completion) Proof of official registration for second term classes
After January 2012	Scholarship funds will be sent directly to your college once all required items (Scholarship Response Form, thank you note, first term transcripts, proof of second term registration) have been submitted. Your college will apply the funds in equal distributions of the remaining second year academic terms. Read more information about how and when funds are distributed.
